POTD: 'Coronation Street' Stella shares a dark secret with Carla

Coronation Street's Carla Connor receives a much-needed boost when Stella Price becomes an unlikely confidante in tonight's double bill of the soap.

Carla (Alison King) is left shocked and concerned this evening when the police reveal that Frank has won his appeal for bail, meaning that he'll be a free man until the trial.

When Stella (Michelle Collins) pays a visit to the factory boss, she gets a frosty reception but things change as she reveals that she knows what Carla's going through as she was once raped herself.

After Stella has shared the details of her dark secret and encouraged Carla to stay strong, the businesswoman finally feels ready to face the world again. But does Carla have another setback ahead?


Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
