'Coronation Street' Sophie, Sian wedding twist revealed?

Coronation Street's Sophie Webster will call off her wedding to Sian Powers in the middle of the ceremony, a report has claimed.

Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson, who play the Weatherfield couple, were yesterday pictured filming dramatic scenes which saw Sian flee from the event distraught.

More rumours have emerged today over the events leading up to Sian's heartbreak, which are expected to spark the end of her relationship with Sophie.

As the ceremony gets under way, Sophie falters when she is asked to say her vows - knowing that she has feelings for Dev's daughter Amber (Nikki Patel) following their kiss, according to the Daily Star.

Sophie's father Kevin (Michael Le Vell) apparently sees her doubts and announces that his daughter isn't ready for marriage, but his ex-wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) says: "Sit down, Kevin. You're making a fool of yourself and of Sophie. She's just a little nervous, isn't that right Sophie?"

However, insiders say that it soon becomes clear Kevin is right and Sophie tries to explain why she cannot go through with the wedding.



When a shocked Sian flees, Sophie reportedly runs after her hoping for another chance.

However, a Coronation Street insider told the newspaper: "Sian packs her bags and leaves. It's the end of their love story."

Parkinson will soon finish filming with the soap after deciding to leave to pursue new projects.
