POTD: 'Coronation Street's Ciaran launches a desperate plan

Coronation Street's Ciaran McCarthy resorts to desperate measures to save his wedding in tonight's double bill of the soap.

Having gambled away the cash that was supposed to pay for the venue, Ciaran has no luck when he pleads with Karl (John Michie) and Peter (Chris Gascoyne) to help him out financially.

Just as Ciaran (Keith Duffy) is in crisis mode, fortune smiles on him when a customer enters the Bistro in desperate need of a last-minute caterer to cover a birthday party tomorrow.

Ciaran immediately pretends that he is the business's co-owner, arranges a lucrative deal and prepares to spend the night cooking. Planning to keep the profits for himself, will Ciaran end up regretting going behind Nick's back?

Ciaran thinks he's fond a way out of his money problems with Bob

Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
