POTD: 'Coronation Street's Karl angrily confronts Lloyd

Coronation Street's Karl Munro has a showdown with Lloyd Mullaney after the troubled cabbie confesses all in tonight's double bill of the soap.

Karl (John Michie) is left furious this evening as he overhears a suspicious-sounding conversation between Lloyd and Stella (Michelle Collins) via the switch at the cab office.

Fearing that his partner is cheating on him with Lloyd, Karl wastes little time before confronting the pair at The Rovers - accusing them of having an affair.

Lloyd (Craig Charles) quickly confesses that he did make a pass at Stella but she did nothing wrong - eager to make sure that she doesn't get the blame for anything.

When a livid Karl then quits his job at Streetcars and bars Lloyd from the pub, will Lloyd realise that it's time to move on from Weatherfield?


Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
