POTD: 'Coronation Street's Carla agrees to an affair with Peter

Coronation Street's Carla Connor is forced to accept a future as Peter Barlow's other woman in tonight's episode of the soap.

Carla (Alison King) is left devastated this evening as Peter tells her that he didn't split from Leanne (Jane Danson) after all as he found the task too difficult.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) defends himself by explaining that he can't put Simon through any further upheaval, so Carla angrily insists that they should just forget the last few days ever happened.

However, when Peter declares that his feelings for Carla haven't changed, the factory boss is forced to admit that she can't live without him either. Are the pair making a big mistake as they embark on an affair?


Coronation Street airs tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.
