POTD: 'Coronation Street's Chesney and Katy become parents

Chesney Brown and Katy Armstrong's lives change forever in Coronation Street this evening as they become parents for the first time.
Katy (Georgia May Foote) starts having contractions while playing Mary on stage in the nativity play, having agreed to fill in for Faye after the youngster pulled out.
At first, the audience members are stunned by Katy's realistic portrayal of labour - but pandemonium ensues when it becomes clear that it's no act!
Chesney (Sam Aston) is busy working but rushes to be at Katy's side as soon as he hears what's going on. As seen in the picture below, he later meets his baby boy - but whether he was in time for the birth won't be revealed until this evening…
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
