Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) makes a blunder this evening as she urges Steve to offer Becky (Katherine Kelly) a new cheque for Streetcars following his initial refusal to negotiate any further with his ex.
When Becky hears about this, she knows that something doesn't seem right, so she corners Deirdre outside The Rovers - questioning why she would help her out if she believed Tracy's allegations about her miscarriage.
Becky then piles the pressure on Deirdre - begging her to confess that she knows Tracy (Kate Ford) is lying. Will Deirdre stay loyal to her daughter, or will she reveal more than she should?
