'Coronation Street' Becky McDonald exit thrills 11.5m

Coronation Street's Becky McDonald went out on a high on Monday evening as her dramatic departure from Weatherfield took the soap well above the 11m mark.

Becky shocked 10.48m (44.0%) at 7.30pm and 147k (0.6%) on +1 as she decided to let Steve and Tracy's wedding go ahead. The second episode of the double bill, which saw Becky finally get her revenge before leaving the cobbles, pulled in 11.51m (44.2%) at 8.30pm and 299k (1.1%) on timeshift.

EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 9.06m (35.4%) at 8pm as Ben's betrayal of the Mitchells was revealed. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 607k (3.0%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale entertained 7.94m (35.4%) at 7pm as Ashley tried to uncover the truth about Marlon and Laurel, while Hollyoaks managed 1.14m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4, 130k (0.5%) on +1 and 485k (2.2%) for E4's first look at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours mustered 729k (9.2%) at 1.45pm and 1.12m (6.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away interested 916k (4.6%) at 6pm and 519k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Children of the Night' - was seen by 1.9m (23.9%) at 1.45pm.
