POTD: 'Coronation Street' Milton arrival

Coronation Street's Sylvia Goodwin gets a pleasant surprise as her American boyfriend Milton arrives on the cobbles unexpectedly in tonight's double bill of the soap.

Sylvia (Stephanie Cole) can't hide her disappointment this evening as Milton hasn't been in touch with her for days, and she starts to question whether he ever really cared for her.

However, as Sylvia's music contest against Norris gets under way at The Rovers, Milton (Robert Vaughn) arrives at the pub unannounced to cheer her on - and soon joins in by performing 'Ain't She Sweet' with his new girlfriend.

With Milton's support, will a delighted Sylvia win her competition against Norris (Malcolm Hebden)? And how will the Croppers react to Milton's arrival?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
