POTD: 'Coronation Street' Frank Foster trial begins

Coronation Street launches another explosive week of episodes this evening as Frank Foster's rape trial begins.
Carla (Alison King) is determined that justice will be done as she arrives at the court in tonight's double bill. However, she's unnerved by Frank's (Andrew Lancel) composure as he has the nerve to approach her and declare that it's not too late to call the whole thing off.
Later, as Carla enters the witness box, she gets emotional as she recalls Frank's attack. But things soon get tougher as Frank's defence lawyer tries to paint her as a liar and questions the nature of her relationship with Peter.
Carla insists that she and Peter are just friends, but with Frank in possession of photos that prove otherwise, it won't be long until things take a dramatic turn for the worse…

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
