Stella, played by Michelle Collins, becomes suspicious when cash disappears from the till at the pub without explanation, according to the Daily Star.
It is thought that Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati) and Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) all find themselves in Stella's firing line as she tries to find out who is responsible.
Stella reportedly announces: "There's no easy way of saying this - one of you is a thief."
However, after offending the workers, Stella is left with egg on her face when it emerges that her own partner Karl (John Michie) took the money.
She then tells the staff: "I'm really, really sorry I accused you. You're all good workers and I should have realised none of you would rob me."
Coronation Street fans will realise that Karl stole the cash to fund his gambling habit, but whether Stella finds out his real reason for raiding the till remains to be seen.
