POTD: Will Peter's plan work in 'Coronation Street'?

Coronation Street's Peter Barlow waits to hear his fate after confessing to the murder of Frank Foster in tonight's (March 15) episode of the soap.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) is determined to protect Carla (Alison King) whatever the cost, so when quizzed by the police, he makes up a story - claiming that he rowed with Frank at the factory and hit him with the whisky bottle.

Back on the cobbles, news of Peter's confession is spreading - with Carla, Ken, Deirdre and Leanne stunned by the development.

Later, Peter waits in a cell as the authorities decide what to do next. Having heard Peter's tale, will they charge him?


Coronation Street airs tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.
