Simon (Alexander Bain) is continuing to misbehave in tonight's hour-long episode and he finally reaches breaking point following a run-in with head teacher Brian at school.
When the troubled youngster does a disappearing act from the building, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Carla (Alison King) are horrified to hear that Simon is missing.
After fleeing school, Simon actually returns home to the flat and hides in a cupboard there. However, his worried loved ones are unaware of this and frantically call in the police.
Later, following time out searching, Peter and Carla return home and are shocked to find an unconscious Simon on the sofa with an open bottle of wine, which Carla had stashed in the cupboard. As Simon is rushed to hospital, will Peter blame Carla or stand by her?
