The Sunita Alahan actress quit the social networking site under a fortnight ago after receiving "violent, vitriolic" racist abuse.

"I miss the banter, I miss the people, I definitely do. I just think it's really sad that I'm not on it. Of course I miss it," she told PA.
"It's like you have a virtual world of friends and you can keep up with things but then with all the things that kept happening I just thought, I don't want that to spoil what I'm reading. You can't fail to read them though when they come."
She added firmly: "I think Twitter needs to consider some things. That's what I think."
The star's Corrie alter ego recently left partner Dev and started a raunchy affair with cab driver and gambling addict Karl Munro.
The 45-year-old was yesterday named 2012's 'Rear of the Year' alongside John Barrowman, becoming a successor to the likes of Carol Vorderman.
