However, she recently revealed on Twitter that she hasn't seen Roache "for a while", adding that they are "the best of friends and would still attend events together".
Jesson previously said of the relationship: "We were immediately comfortable in each other's company and we had good chemistry. So the friendship just progressed from there."
She also admitted that it was a "delicate" situation given the sudden death of Roache's wife Sara in 2009.
Roache recently denied bragging about his love life, following claims that he had slept with up to 1,000 women.
