'Coronation Street': Tracy's baby bombshell brings in 8m

Coronation Street stayed above the 8m mark with the latest twist in the Tracy and Ryan storyline on Wednesday evening (October 10), overnight figures show.

The Weatherfield soap pulled in 8.03m (37.0%) at 7.30pm on ITV1 and 292k (1.3%) on +1 as Tracy claimed to be carrying Ryan's baby.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.91m (33.2%) at 7pm as Carl remained fixated on Chas, adding 211k (1.0%) on timeshift.

Hollyoaks interested 884k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Carmel finally returned home, while E4's first look had 657k (3.2%) at 7pm and 155k (0.7%) on +1.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 683k (10.6%) at 1.45pm and 935k (6.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 674k (3.9%) at 6pm and 452k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.38m (21.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
