Behind the scenes at Tracy's trial
Published Thursday, Mar 29 2007, 10:35 BST | By Kris Green
As Coronation Street's trial of the decade rolls on, the evidence heard in Weatherfield Crown Court is becoming increasingly damning to Tracy's cause.
Last night's episode saw Tracy's master plan begin to split at the seams as the prosecution confronted the cold-blooded killer with the murder weapon, demonstrating to the jury that she couldn't have picked up the ornament - which delivered the fatal blow to Charlie Stubbs - with one hand.
Tomorrow's instalment sees devious David Platt take the stand as well as a panic-striken Deirdre. Once both witnesses have testified, Tracy's fate looks more uncertain than ever before. And a shock revelation by the distraught may be the final nail in her daughter's coffin.
With the jury's decision looming, Kate Ford was asked whether she thought Tracy should be found guilty or not.
She said: "She's blatantly guilty; she murdered Charlie in cold blood. She's done something terrible and she needs to pay. But on the other hand, I feel very loyal to Tracy so I’d like to see her get off."
Here, Digital Spy goes behind the scenes at Bradford City Hall during the intense nine-day filming schedule of the epic trial.
Don't miss the verdict on Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

Kate Ford is confronted with the statue which Tracy used to kill Charlie Stubbs.
