Weatherfield actor apologises to cast and crew
Coronation Street actor Steven Arnold this afternoon apologised for not showing up for work on Friday.

The 32-year-old actor, who plays squeaky butcher Ashley Peacock, turned up on time at Granada Studios this morning, and began working on the missed scenes which should have been filmed at the end of last week.

However, before filming began, he formally apologised to the cast and crew who waited around for him on Friday when he failed to show. Arnold, however, has still to meet with Producer Steve Frost.

A Corrie spokesman today told DS: "Steven has apologised to his fellow cast and crew and everybody involved in the hold up on Friday.

"Unfortunately, Steven has been unable to meet with Producer Steve Frost today as it was decided that filming the missed scenes were essential in keeping the filming schedule rolling."

He added: "Steven will, however, officially meet with the Producer later in the week."
