Liz, who has played Vera Duckworth since 1974, is leaving the ITV1 soap due to ill health.
The 69-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Bill Tarmey (Jack Duckworth), Samia Smith (Maria Sutherland), Kym Ryder (Michelle Connor), Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) and Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) for a bash held at the Street's Rovers Return pub.
Street bosses showed a 15-minute montage of clips from Liz's time on the programme, and producer Tony Wood made a speech about her.
"I had a wonderful time tonight," Liz said. "It was a really nice do."
Dawn will film her final scenes for the soap next week.
