Power cut halted O'Brien's panto debut
Tina O'Brien's panto debut had to be postponed due to a power cut this week.

The former Coronation Street actress, who has now finished filming her role as Sarah Platt, has taken on the lead role in Cinderella at the Manchester Opera House.

However, according to The People, things got off to a bad start when an electrical fault meant that the show's opening night could not go ahead. Text messages were sent to ticket-holders to inform them, but many still turned up. The problem was fixed in time for the next night's show.

Johnny Briggs, who played Mike Baldwin, is also starring in the panto.
