Corrie actor falls for tattoo prank
Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd became convinced that he would have to get a tattoo after his fellow cast members played a trick on him.

The 20-year-old actor was surprised when scripts for the ITV1 soap revealed that his character David Platt would be getting the name of his new girlfriend Tina McIntyre tattooed across his torso.

Jack's co-stars soon fooled him into believing that he was expected to have the artwork added to his chest for real. He finally found out the truth after he spoke to producers about his concerns, complaining that the tattoo would ruin his love life.

"Jack went back into the rehearsal room and everyone was in fits," an insider told the Daily Star. "A couple of the cast had wound him up, saying that fake tattoos didn't work in front of the camera and that he would have to have the real thing.

"Jack fell for it hook, line and sinker and was really worried. He said he couldn't go around with Tina written across his chest for the rest of his life."
