Ryder plays Rovers Return barmaid Michelle Connor in the long-running soap and revealed to Al Murray on his Happy Hour show that her pints are mainly froth.
"I'm rubbish at pulling pints really. In the beginning they were like ice creams," said Ryder.
Murray, famous for his "pub landlord" persona, replied: "Just tilt the glass, love."
Ryder reportedly broke down in tears while filming an episode of Yvette Fielding's Ghost Hunting With... for ITV.
