Danson bans son from watching Corrie

Jane Danson plans to ban her son from watching Coronation Street because she is appalled at her character's antics.

The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV1 soap, said 20-month-old Harry would have to wait a few years before viewing the show.

She told Teletext: "Leanne isn't exactly a good role model for him.

"She's involved in arson and insurance fraud after burning down her restaurant. I'm going to stop him watching it until he's older!"

Danson recently revealed that her co-stars helped her overcome the death of her father in February.
