Corrie's Jackie Dobbs, David Platt on location

Coronation Street's outlandish Jackie Dobbs (Margi Clarke) returned to filming with the ITV soap last week with pink hair and dressed in what can only be described as a wardrobe malfunction. Either that or something excavated from the pyramids.
It was a coup on Corrie's part when they managed to lure her back. Jackie's an excellent character and will hopefully bring back some of Corrie's 'energy' that it's been lacking of late. Thankfully, she returns to our screens at the end of August.
Meanwhile, David Platt's (Jack P. Shepherd) job in a posh new salon doesn't quite go to plan when Tina (Michelle Keegan) pays him a visit at work to have her hair done. By the looks of the shots below, both David and Tina get a soaking, while David also gets a sacking. They're both thrown out onto the street in a sodden state.
I'm headed up to Manchester tonight for the launch of the 2008 Inside Soap Awards, so check back tomorrow for all the gossip from the night!
