Fresh On-Location Corrie Shots

Here's a fresh batch of on-location Coronation Street pics which just landed in my inbox. If you're averse to a spoiler, then I suggest you avert your eyes beyond picture number one!
First up we have a nice little group shot of the new group of teens to form in the Weatherfield soap. If you didn't read about them the first time around, Sophie Webster's (Brooke Vincent) school friends Ben (Lucien Laviscount) and Sian (Sacha Parkinson) will begin making regular appearances from the end of the month, complete with Ugg boots.
From the off, there's an immediate spark between swimming captain Ben and Sophie, but things aren't quite as straightforward as they seem...

Meanwhile, grieving widow Maria Connor (Samia Smith) gets the shock of her life on her wedding anniversary in February when her husband's killer Tony Gordon (Gray O'Brien) turns up at Liam's graveside. Maria's wary, though, when Tony begins to cry. Just what is Tony up to? Surely he wouldn't kill again?

And finally for this entry, there's a surprise screen return from a certain Corrie oldie who was apparently strangled to death at Christmas by everyone's favourite factory boss Tony. Yep, that's right, Tony didn't kill again. Instead, he packed Jed (Kenneth Cope) off to Wigan to start a new life, just as he suggested he would.
As you can see from my pictures, Tony's right-hand man Jimmy Dockerson (Robert Beck) pays him a visit in a bid to ensure his silence.
All credit to Corrie for their misdirection as to Jed's fate on Christmas Day, though! It definitely had a lot of people fooled.

Everyone who watched the episode after Xmas day would know Jed wasn't dead, it wasn't misdirected at all.

No doubt the two new kids will get up to all sorts of mischief and be issued with an ASBO order and to be honest we don't need them. We hear and read enough about kids being issued with an ASBO order. We don't need it in Corrie. Will the boy be responsible for Sophie's forthcoming predicament?.

Finally, the new generation of teens!!! Hopefully they bring some flavour to the Street! I was not really keen on the whole David, Amber, Tina, Graeme and (the kebab boy, forgot his name!) These three definitely have some chemistry, it looks so right. Lol I never knew dudes wore Uggs though...
