Poll: Who should Corrie's Tina be with?

Published Saturday, Jun 6 2009, 00:27 BST | By Kris Green | 3 comments
Last week, I left you with two questions to keep you entertained, the first about Hollyoaks' much anticipated stunt week and the second regarding EastEnders' latest controversial plot.

First of all, we'll go to the results of the Hollyoaks vote. I asked 'Did Hollyoaks' Stunt Week live up to the hype?' and a staggering 58.5% of those polled said 'Yes'.

Meanwhile, 26.4% weren't sure and 15% didn't believe that it lived up to its hype.

My second poll asked 'What do you think of EastEnders' gay Muslim storyline?' I'm sure the upcoming kiss between Syed (Marc Elliott) and Christian (John Partridge) towards the end of this month will cause a meltdown at Ofcom, but 57.6% of those who cast their vote think that even though it's a taboo topic, they see no reason why it shouldn't be explored.

Nearly a quarter (23.5%) sat on the fence, reserving judgement until they see the storyline start playing out on screen, while the remaining 18.9% opted for the 'It's a ratings booster and media device' choice.

Moving swiftly onto this week's poll, in which I ask: 'Who should Corrie's Tina be with?'

Tina - played by Michelle Keegan - has finally given David (Jack P Shepherd) a wide berth. Hallelujah. However, the young Platt's hopes that Tina will fall back into his arms are dashed when his plan to set Gary (Mikey North) up for the burglary of his gran Audrey's (Sue Nicholls) house unravels around him.

Despite David believing that Tina fancies Windass Jnr, his presumption couldn't be much further from the truth. Instead, Tina's attention will soon fall on Jason (Ryan Thomas). Here's to hoping that the Platts and Grimshaws draw their battle lines again. Dressing gown-clad fights on the Cobbles, anyone?

Lest not we forget loveable Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey) in the poll, too. He's expressed an interest in Tina on several occasions, but he never quite makes the cut.

So who do you think Tina's perfect match is? David? Gary? Jason? Graeme? Or someone else? Cast your votes using the panel below and I'll be back with the results next week!

She should be with me

Both David and Gary are too immature. Graeme is too silly. I'd say Jason.

Tina would be much better off with Jason than that smirky-faced David.
