First Pics: Sunita returns to 'Coronation Street'

So who do we have here, then?!

Shobna Gulati returned to filming with Coronation Street today as Dev Alahan's (Jimmi Harkishin) estranged wife Sunita.

Sunita's return to the soap apparently ties in with Dev's discovery that she is actually engaged to a new man called Matt Davis, played by ex-Casualty actor Christopher Colquhoun.

By the looks of these pictures, Dev goes to see his former flame in the hope of wooing her back. It doesn't appear to work, though...

Here's a tip, Dev. Although size isn't everything, try splashing out on a bigger bunch of flowers, rather than being a cheapskate and pinching them from your own 'selection'!

I have to say that I'm looking forward to Shobna's comeback. It'll finally give Jimmi - and Dev - something interesting to do. Let's hope it's not a rehash of past plots, though.

who ever wrote this should get real - stop calling her Shobna call her Sunita. Not every one knows shes called Shobna. [You know she's called Shobna from earlier if you read from the beginning of the piece - KG]

I hope Sunita disappears and goes somewhere to grow up. Dev can do better.

Sunita is a beautiful woman, and a talented actress. She brought a touch of mystique and glamour to Corrie Street, so it was sad when she left with her twins. Would love to see things develop with Dev again. Basically he's a decent guy, just gets side tracked now and again!
