Corrie's Todd, 'Enders royal fun, 'Oaks killer

By
Here's a sneak peek at Todd Grimshaw's forthcoming return to Coronation Street, which airs in the soap's special Easter episode later this month.

Todd comes back to Weatherfield for one day only after deciding that Easter Sunday is the perfect time to introduce Eileen and Jason to his rich new boyfriend Jools.

Although Todd is feeling slightly nervous about taking Jools back to the modest house where he used to live, he soon realises that he's being snobbish and changes his attitude.

Todd is also well aware that he's left a lot of history behind on the street and not everyone will be pleased to see him, so his brief visit home won't go entirely to plan…

Meanwhile, as the day of the royal wedding arrives on EastEnders at the end of the month, the residents of Walford get into the spirit of the occasion - none more so than Fatboy, Dot and little Tiffany.

At the Queen Vic, the locals all cheer as Kate Middleton appears on the TV - but at that moment, the television breaks down. As everyone scrambles around trying to get the wedding coverage back on screen, an upbeat Kat can't help but laugh.

Later, everyone gathers on the Square as Tiffany decides to mock up her own version of the royal wedding. She asks Fatboy to be her prince, while Dot is enlisted to perform the ceremony!

A Walford insider said: "Dot and Tiffany are very excited about the royal wedding and decide to have their own mini street party.

"Tiffany tells Dot she wants to find a prince of her own and, when the TV in The Vic breaks down, everyone gathers in the Square and watches on smiling as Tiffany creates her own royal wedding."

Soon afterwards, as she takes a moment to look through Silas's bag, Jenny is shocked and fearful as she finds gloves, rope and a knife inside. She immediately realises that it's time to abort this particular scheme, but as she tries to escape Silas's clutches, the drug starts to kick in and she feels woozy with the murderer in hot pursuit.
