Carla (Alison King) will soon face a backlash when Simon exaggerates an argument they had at the school gates, which saw the factory boss grab him and frogmarch him home when he started misbehaving for her.
When Stella (Michelle Collins) gets wind of the row, she accuses Carla of "child abuse" and warns her never to hurt Simon - or else. However, Carla is far from impressed by the landlady's interference and gives her some home truths in return.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1.
