Leanne settles back into the Street

Bev is wracked with guilt after her night of passion with Charlie, especially when she sees him and Shelley kiss and make up in the Rovers. She tackles Charlie, who makes it very clear that the previous evening meant nothing to him and Shelley need never find out. Realising that Shelley is heading for more heartache if she hooks up with the randy builder, Bev comes to the conclusion that the only way forward is for her to confess.

Leanne is settling back into life in Weatherfield, but is surprised when she sees Nick in the street and asks Les and Janice why he isn't in Canada. When they tell her that he has hooked up with Maria, Leanne is furious that he is engaged to the girl who ruined Toyah's life.

Eileen is stunned when she finds a surveyor measuring up at the house. Steve tries to explain that he kept plans for the sale from her because he felt she had gone through enough recently. It is the final straw for Eileen.

Elsewhere a ghostly chill in the Kabin stockroom has got Norris's imagination working overtime.
