Len offers Joe a deal

Joe is wary as Len lays a deal on the table. If Joe gets Tina to tell the truth in court and say that David started the fight not Gary, then Joe will land a contract to fit the kitchens for a warehouse development he's involved in.

Joe knows he needs the work and when he later talks to Tina about the fight, she admits that she's bent the truth slightly in her statement and that David was the one who started the fight. Will this make Joe see the deal with Len in a different light?

Deirdre has lovingly prepared Ken's favourite meal of Mousakka, completely unaware that he's halfway across town on a narrow boat, sharing the bottle of wine with the enigmatic Martha.

Martha asks him to come along and watch her play and he agrees. It is only after he's shared a chaste kiss with Martha and turns on his mobile phone that he realises Deirdre has been looking for him. When he returns home to the charred remains of the meal and finds a forlorn Deirdre sitting along in candlelight, he feels awful but lies about where he's been.

Becky’s attempts to try and ingratiate with Amy are still winding up Liz and when Becky offers to collect Amy from school, Liz suggests that she should be picked up by somebody who knows her.

Elsewhere, Gary buys Anna a box of chocolates in an attempt to cheer her up but convinced that he's going down, they only serve to upset her even more.
