Fred has a surprise for Shelley

Sunita is struggling with the pressure of Dev’s secret and urges him to come clean to Maya about his health. Maya is shocked but supportive when he breaks the news to her but is less than pleased when she realises that Sunita knew before she did. Dev is stunned when he returns home to find a note and no Maya!

Shelley is struggling with no staff and a busy lunchtime crowd at the pub. Jobless Leanne is in the right place at the right time and finds herself behind the bar. Fred however has very different ideas about how to solve the staffing crisis and stuns Shelley by sacking Leanne and presenting Shelley with a new barmaid of his choosing!

Elsewhere Jack is getting stick from Vera for not pedaling far enough on the exercise bike. Fed up with the new fitness regime, Jack hits upon a plan to eat chips and keep clocking up the miles.
