It's the day of Gary's court case and there are mixed feelings on Coronation Street. Gary is scared stiff that he'll be sent down and David is worried that Tina won't turn up at court.

Joe, meanwhile, is feeling guilty about the pressure he's putting on his daughter, while Anna tries to comfort her family.

At the courthouse Gary and David goad each other about the trial as Gary grows in confidence for every minute that Tina doesn't show. Will she turn up and take to the stand?

Ken admits to Ted that he has feelings for Martha but that he doesn't want to hurt Deirdre. Ted suggests that Ken should tell Martha that he just want to be friends, but will Ken have the courage to do the right thing?

Steve offers to buy Becky a new engagement ring but she insists that she's happy with Michelle's old one. She's not so relaxed about the wedding, though, after going to the register office and booking it for Friday, March 13 – she's already panicking about the day being unlucky.

Graeme manages to impress the neighbours with his knowledge of gardening when he helps Colin fit a window box for Rita. But as usual, Norris finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time with disastrous consequences.

Elsewhere, Luke persuades the girls to work some overtime after he secures a big order from a local company.
