David walks in on Joe and Len shaking hands

Joe is feeling pressure from all sides. David wants him to give him his job back now he has the new kitchen contract, but Joe is worried that he hasn't even got the cash to buy the raw materials for the job. Gail tries to help out, but he is too proud to accept and throws the offer back in her face.

Eventually, Joe can take no more and decides to pay Len a visit to get the deal back on track - just as David walks in and finds them shaking hands.

Meanwhile, Leanne tells Janice that she's decided to accept the restaurant manager's job in Leeds in order to get away from Peter. Peter further infuriates Leanne by getting Simon to beg her to stay. Upset at Simon's childish pleas, Leanne says a tearful goodbye and leaves Weatherfield.

Becky is determined to do everything right in the run up to her wedding and tells Steve that she's decided not to have a hen night as she doesn't trust herself. Instead, she's opting for a quiet night in with Roy and Hayley.

Elsewhere, Dev's Uncle Umed arrives from India and Liz offers a grateful Anna Windass a cleaning job at the Rovers.
