Martha leads Ken to the bedroom

A devastated Rita is pleased when Norris turns up to help run things at the Kabin. Norris is concerned when he finds her engagement ring in the till and puts off making plans with Mary to be at Rita's side.

Meanwhile, Julie is also coming to terms with everything she's discovered over the last 48 hours. She's spent years believing her father was a soldier who had died a war hero and now she finally understands why Paula has resented her all her life.

Eileen is also reeling from the shock of Paula's revelation and is struggling to cope with the fact that her childhood memories of her dad and her friendship with Paula have all been destroyed in an instant.

Meanwhile, Blanche is frustrated when Ken refuses to gossip about the latest goings on in the Street. With Martha on his mind, he snaps at Blanche that there's life beyond Coronation Street.
