Maria gives birth to a baby boy

Maria's labour pains are acute and as Tony races to her side, he scans the deserted beach in panic.

With no one in sight and no signal on his phone, Tony carries a terrified Maria over the sand dunes to a beach hut. Managing to get acquire a weak signal on his mobile, Tony calls for an ambulance. However, Maria's contractions come faster and it looks like help won't arrive in time.

Desperate for some time alone with Kevin, Molly concocts a plan. She suggests to Jack, Connie and Tyrone that they have an evening at the dogs but then feigns a headache and insists they go without her.

When they've gone, Molly texts Kevin inviting him over, but as he's about to set off, Sally returns home and insists that he joins her, Sophie, Ben and his parents for pizza. Will Kevin make his getaway?

Meanwhile, Steve's promised to make more of an effort with Slug. Becky's taken aback, though when Steve insists that he wants them to get married ASAP. Becky's thrilled at the prospect of a summer wedding but when Slug calls into The Rovers, Steve struggles to be civil. Slug's well aware that Becky's new man is jealous and plays on it.

Jason's puzzled when Tina thanks him for the rose. It soon becomes clear he wasn't behind her surprise. She's fuming when she realises that David must have sent it.

Elsewhere, when Sean accompanies Jason to the gym, he spots a guy called Leon who clearly takes his fancy, while Eddie and Anna visit Gary in prison.
