Joe's desperate for some painkillers

Joe's desperately in need of painkillers but Gail's oblivious as she wonders what's happened to the new packet of paracetamol she recently bought. Joe waits until she's gone, pulls them from his pocket and downs a couple.

It's clear they aren't enough, though, and Joe begs the locum doctor for a painkiller prescription but he refuses, saying that he needs to make an appointment. As Joe becomes confrontational, a stunned Gail walks in, prompting Joe to storm out.

Fiz goes to visit John in prison and lies about her missing engagement ring saying that she recently dropped it into the jewellers to have it altered. Meanwhile, Chesney offers to clean Rosie's car for her, secretly hoping that he'll find the ring. Rosie, however, insists that she'll clean it herself.

When she discovers Fiz's ring in her car, she gives it to Sally as a present, pretending that she bought it for her. She's completely unaware, though, of the owner's identity.

Sally's thrilled and as she shows it off to the factory girls, a stunned Fiz recognises it as hers. While Sally's distracted, Fiz takes it from her handbag. How will Sally react when she discovers that it's missing?

An excited Becky and Hayley go shopping for a wedding dress but Becky takes offence at the snooty shop assistant and they return home empty-handed.

Elsewhere, Michelle arrives home; and Jason has a meeting with his bank manager and is thrilled when he's given the go-ahead for a mortgage.
