David's attacked on the Street

Tina's wary as she finds herself in the flat alone with David. As he shuts the door, she wonders what he's going to do but he merely tells her that he loved her and that he thought she understood him.

Shaken, Tina tells him how much she hates him and David eventually leaves. Jason's furious when he learns that David has been harassing Tina and sets off to find him, determined to teach him a lesson.

Meanwhile, Joe tells Gail that he's moving into a B&B to allow them both some space. Gail agrees and Joe's disappointed hoping that she'd object.

Later, as David walks home, he's jumped outside the salon by a mystery assailant and a horrified Gail finds him at the front door covered in blood and bruises. Who attacked David?

Steve and Becky arrive at The Flying Horse but are annoyed to hear that Slug left 15 minutes earlier. They leave his photo with the barmaid and ask her to phone if he reappears but they realise they're clutching at straws.

Amber celebrates achieving the grades she needs to go to university. Darryl suggests that he could move to London with her but Amber's dismissive.

Elsewhere, Graeme enters the world of small business as he's set up his own gardening company: 'Graeme Proctor, Garden Doctor'. He reveals his new wheels, too – a rickshaw.

And Eileen's frustrated by the way Jesse is permanently at his mother's beck and call. She suggests that he move into No. 11 with her but Jesse's not keen, leaving Eileen miffed.
