Roy struggles with Tony's confession

Sally enjoys bossing the factory girls around in her new role as PA in Tony's absence, while Maria turns to Roy for support.

Roy, however, struggles to offer the words Maria needs, with the knowledge of Tony's deathbed confession weighing heavily on his shoulders. Will Roy keep his silence or is he about to shatter Maria's fragile world with the news that her fiancé killed her husband and son's father?

Meanwhile, George shows Peter some paperwork to prove he's Lucy's father and therefore Simon's grandfather. Over a drink, George explains that he was a useless father to Lucy and just wants a chance to be a better grandfather to Simon. Peter won't promise anything but agrees to think about it.

David brings home his new girlfriend Zoe to meet Gail and Joe. He later takes Zoe to The Rovers and when Tina sees them together, she's surprised to see that he has a new girlfriend but hopes that he's now moved on.

Elsewhere, Michelle's startled when Jake taps on the window of her flat. He tells her that he has a contract in Penrith and wants her to go with him. Michelle refuses, although she's secretly tempted by his offer - and there's a clear spark between them.
