Freda returns to Weatherfield to see Emily

Having thought about nothing else since Tony's confession, Roy tells Hayley that he's now convinced Tony murdered Liam and thinks that the police should be told. But Hayley's not sure and warns Roy that people will think he's mad - just like they did with Maria. Has Tony got away with murder?

David and Joe finish working on the boat and agree to take her out on a fishing trip. His happiness is short-lived, however, when Joe tells Gail that he's been made redundant from the hardware shop. She tells him not to worry, though, as she'll support him until he gets another job.

Peter allows George and his wife Eve to visit Simon. They get on well and Peter makes it clear that they're welcome to visit Simon as often as they like.

Elsewhere, Graeme offers to clean a grateful Emily's windows, while Emily welcomes Freda back to No. 3 and she goes on to explain why Mrs Firth sacked her, much to Graeme's amusement.
