Sally calls the police over Rosie's claims

Bill comes to Rosie's aid as she continues to scream for help and when he arrives, Rosie claims that John tried to grab her. With that, Bill takes Rosie home, leaving John feeling helpless. Roy's sympathetic and advises John to tell Fiz about what happened. John's anxious that Fiz might not believe his version of events but she's fully supportive and knows Rosie's game.

Meanwhile, at the Websters', all hell has broken loose and Rosie desperately tries to prevent her mum from reporting John to the police. Sally, however, is insistent.

In the motel, Kevin and Molly's post-coital bliss is interrupted when Sally calls to inform Kevin about Rosie. With that, Kevin dashes off and the police turn up at No. 5 and arrest John on suspicion of assault. As John's carted away, Janice comforts Fiz, while a guilt-ridden Rosie looks on, knowing full well that she's gone too far.

Liz puts on a brave face and agrees to see the funny side of Teresa's theme night joke but inside, Liz is fuming. Deciding to exact her revenge, Liz uses her spare key to Lloyd's flat and puts one of his beloved vinyl records in the oven!

Lloyd's later mortified to discover a note saying that she's kidnapped the rest of his collection and to his horror, begins throwing them out of the window. Lloyd begs Teresa to apologise and Teresa reluctantly agrees - on the condition that Lloyd proposes to her in front of Liz.

As Teresa apologises to Liz, Lloyd drops to one knee and proposes, but he's stunned by her response!

Steve's perturbed when Dev brings his golf coach Bernie into The Rovers. As she's his golf coach, too, Steve asks her to keep quiet about his secret lessons. Amused, Bernie tells Dev about Steve's tuition and a competitive Dev asks her to hinder Steve's progress.

Elsewhere, Becky and Claire return home early from their night out and both are a little worse for wear. A queasy Claire returns home but is angry to notice that Becky has torn the skirt she loaned her. Has their unlikely friendship got off to a bad start?

And Emily pays Eddie £10 for clearing her guttering, while Norris is cynical about his work.
