Cilla confesses

Cilla prepares to leave for her trip and gets fully pampered in the salon at Yana’s expense. They’ve got their bags packed and they’re ready to leave for the airport when Cilla reveals to Les that he won’t need his bags because he’s not going anywhere. As Les grovels with Cilla to forgive him since they have so little time left together, she drops the bombshell and confesses that she got the all clear before Christmas.

Fiz is furious that she’s caused Chesney and herself so much anguish. Shocked and hurt that his Mum could be so spiteful in the name of vengeance, Chesney refuses to go with her. Cilla departs for the airport leaving an outraged street behind. Will Cilla come back to face the music and will everyone be able to forgive her after being so deceptive?

Jamie and Frankie have booked their flights to Spain and are preparing to leave. However, Jamie has been putting up with snide remarks all day and when they go to the Rovers for a farewell drink and Vernon makes another gibe, Jamie snaps and punches him. Frankie is furious that Jamie has created such a scene and refuses to go home with him.

Elsewhere, as a single mum, Sarah is angry with Jason when he tells her he wants nothing to do with the baby. Has he blown his chances with her now? Jason’s also in Eileen’s bad books, after physically having to force him to take the baby for a walk to the park, she is angry with his reluctance to take an interest in his child.
