Rosie and John have a close call

Sarah is livid at the amount of attention being lavished upon her scheming brother and when David apologises to her for ruining the wedding and honeymoon, she knows he's insincere and is just trying to wind her up.

Gail and Jason are completely oblivious and while Jason gets more impatient with his wife's lack of compassion for her suicidal brother, Sarah gets more frustrated that she's the only one who can see through David's façade. Determined to save her marriage, Sarah's eager to get out of the Platt household and as far away as possible from troublemaker David. However, the newly-weds have done nothing but argue since their disastrous wedding. Are they doomed for failure?

It’s Sophie’s birthday and, as the rest of the family go bowling, Rosie claims she’s unwell and stays home alone, inviting John over as soon as they leave. They have a narrow escape when Sally and Kevin arrive back unexpectedly and John lies that he’s called round to see if Sally wants another lesson tomorrow. Sally’s delighted that John is going to such lengths to spend more time with her. Will she take it the wrong way?

He manages to appease the kids with the promise of a great Bonfire Night and sends them off to collect stuff to make a guy and Jodie relents when he gives her the week off. Meanwhile, Sean lets it slip to Eileen and Todd that he knows the baby's a boy. Who else will find out?
