Maria sees Carla kissing Liam

Carla gathers all her courage and tells Liam that they have to face facts – there’s something between them and it's time they faced the truth about their feelings. She thinks that he knows deep down he's making a big mistake, but is gutted when he tries to ignore her and rushes out of the house to buy Ryan a new shirt for the wedding.

When Liam turns up at the flat later, she's hopeful until he storms out, angrily telling her to back off and denying having any feelings for her. Carla urges him to stop fighting it and asks him why he was calling her name when he was at death’s door in the Lakes if he feels nothing for her. Liam’s stunned and storms out.

Back at No.7, Carla appears and tells Liam that if there was ever a time to be honest this is it, before trying to tempt him with a kiss. He succumbs but pulls away in anger.

Meanwhile, Maria arrives back on the Street having forgotten something and is stunned to see Carla giving her fiancé a seductive kiss. Will Liam and Maria make it to the church or will Carla manage to convince him that he's making a mistake?

Michelle is upset to hear that Alex isn’t close to his family and now that Wendy has a new partner, he feels he’s being squeezed out. As she talks to him about Dean and the rest of the family, Alex asks if he can come back to the pub with her and come to Amy's party. But when Michelle declines as she's worried about upsetting Ryan, Alex is furious and storms out, leaving Michelle alone in turmoil. Back on the Street, Steve is furious that Michelle has missed the party. As Michelle continues to chase Alex, will she risk losing Steve?

Dan is annoyed with Harry for interfering with his attempt to chat up Kelly and tries his luck again. Will Kelly fall for him?

Elsewhere, Fiz is concerned when she goes round to see Chesney and finds him unwell and living in squalor. Fiz resolves to move Chesney in with her so she can look after him properly, but will Chesney leave Kirk?
