Paul confesses he owes Dan money

When Wendy arrives at the pub, Michelle is forced to tell a devastated Alex to give her another chance and go home with her, but is hurt when Alex calls her a liar for promising not to kick him out.

Meanwhile, Ryan is delighted when Steve breaks the news that Alex has left. He arrives home and tells Michelle that he’s there to support her and is going to move back home. Michelle’s pleased to have Ryan back and suggests they all go out for dinner - how long will they remain happy families?

Kirk hasn’t found a new job and while he stays at home setting mouse traps, Chesney discovers the washing machine is broken and makes his way to the laundrette. On his way, he bumps into Claire, who offers to do his washing for him.

As Chesney scours the jobs page of the newspaper for Kirk, its clear Claire’s getting increasingly worried that he's not being taken care of properly. Later that day, Norris arrives to complain about the noise and its clear Claire’s not the only one who’s concerned about Chesney’s well being.

Paul reluctantly confesses to Jack that Dan was responsible for his semi-naked antics and feels guilty when Jack gives him a wad of notes to pay off his debt. Later, Dan reveals to Leanne that Paul has coughed up and as they flirt shamelessly, Paul explodes with jealousy. Will he confess his feelings to Leanne?

Elsewhere, Gail is relieved when Tina agrees not to tell David about the pregnancy.
