Danson loses a stone from worry

Jane Danson has revealed that worrying for her sick son made her lose a stone.

The Coronation Street actress admitted that she is back to her pre-pregnancy weight of eight stone after doctors took three months to diagnose her son Sam’s painful illness - silent reflux, a condition similar to heartburn.

She told the Sunday Mirror: "I was trying to eat sensibly but most of the weight loss was down to stress. I wish I could say it was down to a wonderful diet, but it wasn't. Sam was in a really bad way and it was nervous energy.

"I can't remember much about that time - it’s all a bit of a blur. But I was constantly on the go, not getting much sleep and eating on the run."

Danson gave birth to Sam Alfie Robert in February. He is now fully recovered from his illness.
