A furious Leanne (Jane Danson) can't shake off her suitor Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) during tonight's episode of Coronation Street as he attempts to apologise for his deception.

Following Leanne's discovery that Peter had a fling with Michelle (Kym Marsh), Leanne's frustrated by his lies and calls off their newly-rekindled relationship. Branding him a compulsive liar, Leanne's determined not to have anything more to do with the bookie.

However, Peter's not prepared to give up on their romance and in classic Romeo and Juliet style, tries to get her attention at her window. Leanne's not impressed in the slightest by his profuse apology and starts pelting peppers and eggs at him.

Will Leanne ever forgive Peter?
