Coronation Street veteran Jack Duckworth (Bill Tarmey) moves away from the cobbles and in with his lady friend during tonight's episode of the Weatherfield soap.

A few weeks ago, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) finally accepted that Connie (Rita May) wasn't befriending Jack for his money when he discovered that she was a millionairess herself. However, as Jack continued to feel a hindrance in Tyrone and Molly's (Vicky Binns) marital home, he decided to look for a new place to live.

Connie quickly offered him the spare room at her leafy mansion and after a few days of pondering her suggestion, he gratefully accepted, much to Tyrone's dismay.

Jack's leaving drinks, however, are marred by the late arrival of Molly, who had been romping in a hotel room with Kevin (Michael Le Vell). She finally makes it back to the Street in time to see Jack leave but as he does, she and Tyrone begin to argue. Between them, a few home truths are hammered home.

Will Molly and Tyrone's marriage survive? And how long will it be before Jack returns home?


Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
