While sat watching Carla (Alison King) and Tony's (Gray O'Brien) wedding the other night, it was refreshing to see the producers at Coronation Street using incidental music.

There's an extremely effective scene at the end of the hour-long episode featuring Maria (Samia Smith) and the Green Day song 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)'.

I don't think Corrie plan to go all Hollyoaks on us and use music at every touch and turn, but I'm led to believe that they'll be using commercial tracks as-and-when it's apt for the storyline.

There are some fantastic one-liners from the Websters, too!

Carla and Tony's wedding episode airs in a one-hour special on Wednesday, December 3 at 7.30pm.
