I was under the impression that Melvyn Bragg is responsible for the operation of a factory which churns out clones of Corrie actors and actresses. This explains how Auntie Pam can appear in Corrie and the baby milk advert as well as working the night shift at my local Asda. One of the Becky clones appears in a cheese advert, while a clone of Gail's dad played a Nazi in the third Indiana Jones movie. A clone of Dev currently works in my local video shop and my fat mate is a clone of Steve McDonald. That child of Peter Barlow's however is not a clone. He is the all-powerful son of Satan and, as such, can be in more than one place at a time.

Of course it's her - why would it not be? She's an actress not a member of the Royal family... or Jesus..

There is no escaping those Coronation Street actors! I think I'm right in thinking that Peter's Son (Simon?) is in the Rice Krispies advert?!

It is Auntie Pam and she has appeared on several adverts over the years. A great one was a 2 minute BT advert several years ago when Kate Anthony took over from Maureen Lipman as the BT lady for a while. I think she lives in London, but appears to be very much a regular in Corrie - and what a fab role she has created. Much fun and great lines. I hope she stays in the soap for many years. She was in several successful theatre roles prior to switching to television.

Looks like Auntie Pam from Corrie...I saw her yesterday in the flesh... pushing a trolley at Tesco extra in Osterly, near Heathrow... has she finished on Corrie now or just on a break?

The actress who plays Pam could possibly have a twin sister.
